Since 1986, the Kootenai County Farmers’ Market has been providing the communities of North Idaho with fresh, locally-grown produce. From May through October, our markets specialize in vegetable, flower, and native plants and an ever changing array of local food products–meats, cheeses, bread, honey, and jams–all season long.
So grab a cup of coffee, listen to the live music and peruse the more than 100 producers and artisans who make up our two markets–from cheese to chairs, breads to birdhouses–you’ll find it at the market.

The Annual Kiddies Parade sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department will be held Wednesday,July 3. The parade lines up at 9:30 AM at 10th & Sherman and begins promptly at 10 AM where it proceeds to Independence Point. There is no entry fee. Everyone is welcome. The parade theme is “Wonderful World of Disney”. Kids are also welcome to dress up patriotic or any other way they choose. Divisions are as follows Wheels, Floats, Costumes, and Pets. No motorized vehicles allowed.

The fun, family-friendly annual parade begins at 10:00 AM in downtown Coeur d'Alene on Sherman Avenue.
Fourth of July Live Entertainment, Food & Fun in the Park
Bring the family down to the Coeur d'Alene City Park by the lake to enjoy live music and street-food fare from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Entertainment venues are scheduled all day with a headliner to close out the evening.

Idaho State Draft Horse & Mule International Show

The 42nd Annual Idaho State Draft Horse and Mule International show will be held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. Come see the gentle giants work, visit them in their stalls and chat with the teamsters. There are driving classes ranging from a single cart horse to 6 and 8 horse/mule hitches! Come participate in the Wagons Ho! Art and Gear Show, and see local artists! This event will be held July 5-7th. Sunday is family day!
Downtown Coeur d’Alene Brew Fest

Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s Brew Fest, will quench your thirst with fine craft brews this summer! The festival will be held in McEuen Park on July 6 from 1 PM – 7 PM. The event will feature a wide variety of 30 beers and ciders, a great selection of food, yard games, and live music in the best venue in town!
Tickets include six 5 oz. beer pours and a commemorative pint glass. Extra beer pours will be available for purchase for $2. Admission is free for designated drivers and children – must be accompanied by ticket holder. No dogs please.

Native American dancers, drummers, food concessionaires, authentic tribal artists and craftspeople return to the Kootenai County Fairgrounds July 26 through 28 for Julyamsh, one of the largest powwows in the nation. For almost two decades, “The Gathering in July” has been not only among the largest, but among Indian Country’s most popular summer events.

Sunday: Grand Entry – 1:00pm – Horse parades, with horses and riders in full regalia, will precede each grand entry.
